Crescent City, CA has World's Best Window Seat

Last time we left off the travel portion of this blog, we were leaving Crater Lake, Oregon and en route to Crescent City, California. A few podcasts, potty breaks and a skype gender reveal party later we made it! That’s right, some of our dearest friends were having their gender reveal party during our trip so we made sure to stop at a Wal-Mart (in a pocket we actually had service) to be FaceTimed in on the fun. California Adventures- Death Valley

If there was ever a place that made me feel as though I was in a post-apocalyptic, extra terrestrial movie, it would be Death Valley, California. Anniversary Weekend

Three years of married life in the blink of an eye. Drew and I looked at each so many times over this weekend and said things like, "has it really been three?" It has, and each year has somehow topped the one before in every way. Marriage is such a unique, intricate gift that we are still unwrapping, and I never want to stop. I'll try to refrain from all the emotions I'm still high on, but Drew has every inch of my heart--and I feel like the luckiest girl that he pursued me, and hasn't stopped. And before you think everything is perfect, it's not and isn't going to be--but we both seek reconciliation quickly when there is conflict because there is no guarantee that tomorrow is promised and we've resolved to not waste the time we have being upset.
