Hello, my name is Samantha B. I just recently finished the TT spring program. I wish my pictures reflect more of how much stronger I feel. After only 5 weeks I can’t believe what I can do now that I couldn’t before. Between the strength training and gaining so much more muscle than I have ever had to the help of eating more protein and getting my body what it needs everyday has made me feel physically and mentally strong!
I lost my baby boy a year and a half ago. I had him at 38 years old and my body and heart were broken. I started working out with my sister who has been part of the moves community for quite a while after I was cleared by my doctor for exercise. The opportunity came to sign up for tt with her and so I did it and being familiar with the workouts I was excited but also nervous to learn a new way of eating. This challenge was so helpful for me to see how strong I am. That dispute a broke heart and body I could put myself back together have goals and accomplish them and see results. I have never in my wildest dreams ever thought I would take pictures like these and while I still have such a long way to go I am so grateful I started and feel as strong as I do! THANK YOU a million times for the work that goes into this program! I appreciate the opportunity to be able to heal through this experience.

My first experience with the Tighter Together challenge has been nothing short of extraordinary. Despite using Madeline Moves on and off for a year, the transformative power of this particular challenge has left me in awe. While I may not fully perceive the changes yet when I gaze into the mirror or see myself captured in a photograph, the disparity between my before and after pictures is undeniably remarkable. The ability to comfortably slip into shorts that I consciously avoided last summer is a win! My biggest win was this week when I was cleared to start jumping and working towards running. I underwent major surgery in October and have been in PT twice a week since then. I finally made the progress in quad strength that was required for me to take this next step!
Embarking on this challenge initially evoked trepidation within me. May proved to be an arduous month, with my husband tirelessly working for five consecutive weeks at the challenge's onset, and my own responsibilities such as traveling with a group of students in Mexico for a week. On top of that, as the lead for the 12th-grade class and a full-time classroom teacher, orchestrating graduation celebrations, senior breakfast, and managing the myriad emotions that accompany this transitional period added an extra layer of complexity. However, the 30-minute workouts were exactly what I needed. I could conveniently squeeze them into my lunch break or planning period (bless our administration for supporting our midday workouts). They were effortlessly completed in hotel gyms during my travels, culminating in a staggering 95% completion rate.
The anticipation of continuing my journey with Madeline Moves, diligently tracking macros, and participating in future challenges excites me. Although I did not take comprehensive measurements, it is evident that I have shed numerous inches and dropped a full pant size, amounting to a substantial eight-pound weight loss. I am eternally grateful to the exceptional team at Madeline Moves for conceptualizing and executing this exceptional program and challenge. The community fostered on Facebook and Instagram served as a wellspring of inspiration and unwavering support, propelling me to surpass my own expectations.

Tighter Together was the spark that ignited my desire for daily movement and prioritizing my health this year. This was my second Tighter Together Challenge having just completed my first one in January '23 but this was my first one in maintenance. Muscle and mental growth will be my greatest takeaways from this challenge. I didn't lose a single LB this challenge but just went shopping for new jeans last week and was so shocked to have to go down a size :) If there's one thing that doesn't lie (besides brutally honest kids), it's JEANS! Before this challenge, the scale weight not changing would have made me doubt my efforts and probably derailed my fitness journey. Now I feel more comfortable in my clothes, have gained confidence and get to model all the healthy habits I have learned to my soon to be adolescent twin daughters. Most of all, I've learned to never give up on myself-keep going!
Thank you Madeline and team for building this great community, developing an app that will give me years of workouts that are so easy to do at home and putting together these challenges to push ourselves to be better versions of ourselves!

Tighter Together honestly terrified me at first. I have been a follower of Madeline Moves for quite some time, however never had the courage to actually complete TT in the past. I have always thought that workout challenges were out of reach for me, especially postpartum. I had my first baby 10 months ago and have struggled with the physical and mental changes that come after having a child, as well as the lack of community. Tighter Together has been the perfect solution and has literally changed my life.
Tighter Together Spring 2023 has taught me so many lessons. It taught me that this body can grow a baby AND be strong. It taught me that I can finish the workouts – Modify and Go! Most importantly, Tighter Together taught me the power of community. We build each other up and can accomplish great things tighter and most importantly together.
I wasn’t perfect during this challenge. I did 30 minute workouts when needed and there were many workouts where I had a baby playing on the floor next to me. TT reminded me that the goal is not perfection, but rather believing in myself. TT has completely changed the way I view myself – not just the physical change, but it has given me confidence in myself again. I am beautiful in both my before and after pictures, but the confidence I have gained over the past 4 weeks of TT is the real transformation.
This is the first Tighter Together challenge that I have actually completed. The lessons I have learned from Tighter Together have made me a better mom, wife, daughter, and friend. I will never forget them and I look forward to many more challenges with the Moves App Community. I can’t thank you enough!

I did it. This challenge represented so much to me. I am no rookie to Madeline Moves. I got in the best shape of my life after my second baby with the yearly challenges and weekly moves. But 2 miscarriages and finally the birth of our third rainbow baby, turning 40 and moving back to my hometown at 3 weeks postpartum, my routine was disrupted and I had a lot of challenges to overcome. My youngest just turned 2 years old in May and while I gave myself grace these past 2 years, it took a lot longer to find a routine and start gaining momentum & strength after her birth. But this is the first challenge of 3 since turning 40 and having her that I finally finished! I found my routine. I found a balance between my home gym and regular gym. I have always been a fan of macros but it became a challenge with a new schedule & 3 kids. But we figured it out…again. I’ve been here before. I knew I could get here again.
The mental game was perhaps the biggest roadblock. Three kids, turning 40, could I be in better shape than I was in my 30s? Had my metabolism slowed down? Have I lost muscle composition that couldn’t be regained? In a society that is looking for a quick fix with weight loss injectables, surgeries, diet fads, could I find success, strength and sustainability again with strength training and macros? I had almost lost faith, but I decided to give the challenge another go. These challenges in four weeks aren’t meant to be a one and done. They aren’t meant to produce drastic results. They are meant to challenge us physically and mentally, to set us up for success and sustainability so we can continue on our journey forever, to prove that diet and exercise is a lifestyle, not a fad. Madeline once told me after I had sent her a few progress photos months after a challenge, that “that’s the best part, when your after pictures become your new before pictures!”
So here is my before and after that has set me on a new journey. A journey with three kids. A journey in my 40s. A journey that will teach my girls how to be strong. A journey worth fighting for. A journey where my after picture will become my new before picture! I look forward to starting endurance moves next. I’m so grateful for this challenge proving to me that nothing worth it comes easy. Don’t give up. Keep going. My energy has skyrocketed. I’m finally starting to see body composition changes. I have found joy in these workouts. I feel strong, I feel capable, and I wake up choosing my health over quick fixes or excuses. I hope this testimony inspires others to never give up. Fight for it and you WILL reap the benefits.

Good afternoon from Indiana. My name is Michelle. I have entered Tighter Together before many times. I have not completely finished Tighter Together in the past except once. I am 48 years old. My mom passed away 25 years ago at the age of 49. As my 49th birthday gets closer, I start to feel panicked. She was a phenomenal woman, who I miss dearly. I started this particular Tighter Together, for a few reasons. The most important one was my health. The next couple of reasons were mostly personal, and cosmetic.
As stated above, my mom passed away at 49. I am 48 and 10.5 months old. I am currently on HB medicine. I am overweight. I wanted to feel better than I have in a long time. I have 3 children. Two of them are adults, 28 and 23. My youngest is 13. He has become more interested in health and fitness. Yesterday, he played golf and had to walk the 18 holes. It felt really nice to be able to walk those 18 holes with him, not feeling like I was going to die. I can't really get/ help me when I am sitting on the couch and just "being lazy." I don't want him to struggle with the whole do all/ do nothing mindset.
I have a grandchild. He is 3. I would love to be able to continue to play with him as he gets older. I am also very tired of me being very self-conscious of my stomach area. Tighter Together has helped in that area, thank goodness.
Those are the reason why I finally completed Tighter Together. I needed a push in the right direction. Now, it feels weird when I haven't "moved" my body. It feels off. This has helped me in so many ways, I can't begin to thank you and your team for coming up with such an amazing program.

I am a wife and stay at home mom of 4 pre-teens/teens. I wouldn't say I am a very active person. I do an occasional evening walk or bike ride but that is the extent of it. I've been on and off a billion diets and exercise plans over the last few years without much progress at all. I hated the way I looked and I felt defeated. About 6 years ago I was in the best shape of my life and weighed around 150lbs. When I started this challenge I weighed around 230lbs. My clothes didn't fit right and I couldn't stand the thought of a bathing suit.
It wasn't just the outside appearance that had me down. I also have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and I get out of breath with light activity. I'm ashamed of how far I let myself go.
This challenge was something that was long over do. I actually pushed myself to get it done and work hard. I absolutely loved that I could choose 30 or 60 minutes workouts which was so helpful. I had to modify a lot but I was still proud after I finished the workout. I felt like I really accomplished something day after day. After weeks of putting all I had into it I lost a total of 11 pounds and I wish I would have measured myself because I lost so many inches! I still have a long way to go but this is just the beginning and I am thrilled with how this challenge went. The process was just awesome. From the workouts to the recipe to the community and support.
For me it doesnt stop here! I'm on track for a healthier and happier life and I cant wait to see what my future holds!

So, as a mom to 4 little ones (8,6,4,16mo), it's seriously tough finding time to exercise while also homeschooling, running a business, and keeping everything together. But then I discovered the Tighter Together Challenge and it was exactly what I needed to get back into a routine. While the scale only showed an 8 LB drop, the mental and physical changes I've experienced are beyond words. And the best part? You can easily and effectively do any of Moves by Madeline's programs from the comfort of your own home. Tighter Together was the perfect way to kickstart a healthier lifestyle and I'm already looking forward to starting the next program on Monday!

This was not my first Tighter Together challenge, but it was my first time that I truly took the nutrition side of things seriously. I stuck to my macros as closely as possible and really gave thought to what foods I was using to fuel my body, and I saw such a difference from doing that. This challenge was exactly what I needed to really take a step towards overall health. It wasn’t just about appearance to me, but changing how I felt and helping with my mental health as well. Between the third and fourth week of the challenge I ended up with the flu and had to take an entire week off from any workouts. During that time I continued to hit my macros as best as I could, and I truly think that allowed me to jump back in during the fifth week to finish the challenge strong. This program does so much for me each time I complete it, and really shows me just how strong I am and how much I am capable of. I know that now I have built a strong foundation with nutrition, and adding that to my love of Madeline Moves I know that I will continue to get stronger and meet my goals. When I look at my before and afters I see physical differences, but more than that I see confidence and growth, and that’s more important to me than anything else.
Thank you so much to Madeline and the team for doing these challenges and taking so much time to make them amazing for everyone. Each challenge only gets better and gives so many tools for a healthy life!

I have been a member of the Moves App community since October of 2020 and it has changed my life in so many ways. I am proud to say that after starting off with all low impact, simple workouts about 3 sets of weights, transitioning through Weekly Moves and even doing Strength Moves 1.5 times, I am in the best shape of my life after 3 kids and at 33 years old. Tighter Together Spring 2023 is my 6th TT challenge and has been my favorite so far! This time around I have felt so confident in my workouts, confident and comfortable in making modifications, and like I can hold myself accountable in ways that work for ME without extra pressure to be perfect or feel bad about myself.
"Modify and go" has become a life motto for me, and it's something I often tell employees and clients that I work with as well. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I help create goals and behavior change for those I work with. Madeline Moves and the Moves App community have given me the tools I need to finally create substantive change in my own life, in my own strength, mindset, habits, and (least importantly) my physique. The measurement of progressive overload throughout this Tighter Together and compared to where I started nearly 3 years ago is so exciting to see, and I can't wait to do it all again in the new year. Cheers to another awesome round! Thank you again!

This is my first Tighter Together Challenge. I’m 51 years old and have been struggling with weight gain, achy joints and all the things that go along with menopause. I keep seeing how important weight training is especially at this stage in my life so I decided to give it a try. I’ve been active with various workout programs and Zumba classes but it wasn’t until I did this program, that I finally started seeing results.
My body is completely changing, I have so much more energy and I’m feeling stronger. I feel so good. I stuck with my macros as much as possible and mostly did the 30 min workouts. I only lost 6 lbs but I lost 4 inches in my waist and 1 inch in my thighs. I looked forward to every workout even though I was always SO sore! I just did my flex/deload week at the end of the challenge and now I’m so excited to keep going with the Moves App and continue to see what I am capable of. I am so thankful for everything I have learned in this Tighter Together Challenge. I pushed myself harder than I ever have before and learned I am so much stronger than I thought I was. Thank you for giving me the tools to feel good again!

I'm Laurel and this is my first Tighter Together! The past few years I had a yearly weight loss goal and failed to meet it by the end of the year. This year's goal was to be healthier and feel better in my body. After a difficult twin pregnancy and the chaos from the last 3 years, I felt uncomfortable looking in the mirror (and to be totally honest was shocked by the photos I took for my before photos). The thing that told me Tighter Together was the right choice for me was seeing women of all ages and sizes in the testimonials with results that looked realistic and a program that seemed doable for my lifestyle.
I was most interested in learning how to properly strength train and the custom macros - I had just learned about macros a few months earlier and had some success in counting them but didn't feel like the amounts were correct for my body.
Through Tighter Together, I improved my eating and felt like I had more stamina than I had after years of yo-yoing between undereating and over indulging. The nutrition manual was invaluable in helping me understand exactly what my body needed. I've lost 11 inches total in the last five weeks and just over 10 lbs. My kids have noticed how much stronger I've gotten and are constantly checking me for new muscles.
I love that there were so many alternative exercises - I've never done any sort of strength training and there were moves that I couldn't do the first (or second...or third) time. When I felt my body starting to wave the white flag during week 4, I was SO thankful to have the deload week to give my muscles a break and being able to finish the workouts better than before! By the last few workouts, I noticed that I was only substituting one or two alternatives in each workout and was able to add more weight to every workout.
Thank you so much for creating a program that not only was doable but was literally life changing. I'm looking forward to starting my first Moves programs next week!

This Challenge came at the perfect time as I had taken time off working out for a few months due to fatigue. I approached this challenge humbly, as I knew the difficulty from previous ones, but also with greater appreciation for my body’s ability to just move. I focused on just remaining consistent and not going to extremes with either food or exercise. I eased into the workouts and really pushed weeks 3 & 4 after I got some strength back in weeks 1 & 2. It felt SO good to be lifting weights again and showing up for myself physically everyday in some form. Although I have seen greater physical progress in previous challenges, I am the most proud of myself for maintaining greater balance with my mindset and especially towards food. I embraced a little birthday cake, dinner with friends, and holiday foods without guilt and rigidity, but also not going overboard. I feel better equipped to maintain the balance after this challenge than previous ones. I am back in my groove and it feels amazing!

Hi my name is Jordan- I am 28 years old from Greenville, SC. Throughout the majority of my life I have been a very active person. When I was younger I danced and played soccer until college. Once I was in college I focused on my studies with occasional workouts sprinkled throughout my routine. Fast forward to after college. I started working as a nurse on night shift and moved quickly to dayshift. Finding a balance between work and fitness was always a challenge. In spring of 2021 I participated in my first TT challenge. I was planning a wedding and in desperate need to tighten up my body all around. I had great results and really enjoyed the experience but after the challenge was over I didn’t remain consistent with the skills I had learned. In spring of 2022 I decided to participate in my second TT challenge. After 1.5 weeks of the challenge I got Covid and wasn’t able to finish the challenge. I used this as a crutch to remain inactive.
Fast forward to this year. I decided to take the leap and partake in yet another challenge. I was afraid of failure. My husband and I sat down and spoke through all of my worries and he reassured me that if I fail one day it’s ok. That one day doesn’t have to define my entire challenge. So I set a goal to complete every single workout without skipping a LISS or day. After 4 weeks I can honestly say 2 things: 1) I now know my body is capable of doing hard things and 2) I can be consistent. Failure is inevitable but it doesn’t have to define me. I can fail and still be successful. This challenge has given me so much more than amazing results. It’s given me confidence, energy, and the desire to live a healthier life. I will be continuing this journey using p90x and the moves app in the future. I am so thankful for this program and the ways it has helped me grow as an individual!

Here I am! I showed up for me, myself and I over these past 5 weeks and I’m so damn proud of myself!! After having my first baby in Feb 2022 I was neglecting to set time to focus on my own health. As a physiotherapist I know just how important physical activity is and I would get in this guilt rut where missing a workout would only make me want to skip the next one more. TT was the perfect challenge to get me back into the swing of things!
This was my first experience with Moves by Madeline and I was so impressed with the quality of workouts! As former competitive athlete and certified personal trainer I’ve completed and programmed thousands of workouts and I’m used to going hard with my workouts. TT provided the perfect opportunity for me to really push myself! The workouts were not for the faint of heart. Plus, it was so nice to just press play and have the whole thing programmed for you!
Then there was the nutrition side. First off, the recipe guide is worth the $50 on its own! I loved all the recipes I tried. I definitely slacked off when it came to tracking my macros but I did my best to prioritize protein and reach my daily fruit/vegetable intake, which has now become a healthy habit of mine.
All in all, I only lost a couple pounds but gained so much so much confidence, strength and self respect back throughout this challenge. TT and Moves by Madeline, this won’t be the last you’ll be seeing of me.
