Thank you so much for making your way to my blog--a little corner of the internet where I share personal thoughts on exercise, nutrition (macro counting), travel and all the life in between. Hope you take a look around!
I know it can be tough to take people at their word (and their taste buds), so let me prove to you how good these products truly are! There are so many products on the market today that different people swear by and I certainly understand having a limited budget to try them all. I wish I could give EACH PERSON a chance to try two of my personal favorites, but this is a start.
Vital Proteins recently came out with a new flavor of their collagen and whey blend--BANANA CINNAMON! Whey protein is a common source of protein in the fitness realm because it is easy, lean and helps sneak in extra protein to fuel our muscles. Whether it’s taken to the gym in a shaker cup for immediately after a workout or added to recipes like pancakes to increase the protein content, it’s versatile and effective.
I love the combination of collagen and whey as an additional aid in the recovery process. Collagen is beneficial in the rebuilding of cells and muscle tissue that gets torn (in a good way) during exercise.
Good2Go bars are the one of the tastiest sources of healthy fats I have ever tried. They are higher in fat than your average protein bar (14g), but if you account for it in your macros ahead of time or eat half if you need to--it is DELICIOUS! These bars with all-natural ingredients and sweeteners, so the bloat caused by sugar alcohols is non-existent. (highly recommend the sample pack if you want to try lots of flavors!)
These bars are absolutely worth going online and purchasing a sample box since they aren’t available in all parts of the country yet. If you decide to order, I have a discount code that will save you 20% off your order --> “Moves” *Protein Ice Cream Recipe*
